1. | Kimi Raikkonen | Kimi Raikkonen wins the race from Giancarlo Fisichella and Fernando Alonso. Giancarlo Fisichella lost the lead on the final lap. Both Raikkonen and Alonso started from near the back (due to a wet qualifying) and managed to finish 1st and 3rd respectively. Montoya went off on the first lap trying to avoid Villeneuve. Sato gets disqualified for causing an accident with Trulli 16 cars were classified as finishers. Renault, Red Bull, Ferrari, Sauber, Jordan and Minardi managed to finish both their cars. No team failed to finish either of their cars. |

way behind. The 2 BARs managed 3rd and 4th helping them build a gap to Renault in the Constructors Championship. Alonso was 5th
ahead of Raikkonen. Montoya was 7th ahead of Fisichella in the Sauber. The heavy rains saw Saturday cancelled and qualifying moved to Sunday morning. Barrichello makes an overtaking attempt on Coulthard but fails and takes both out. 16 cars were classified as finishers. Williams, BAR, Renault, Sauber, Toyota and Jordan managed to finish both their cars. No team failed to finish either of their cars. |
