1. Fernando Alonso - RenaultFernando Alonso wins his fifth race of the season and the first for Renault at home in 22 years.
Kimi Raikkonen managed to finish second despite suffering a 10 place grid penalty due to an engine change.
Michael Schumacher finishes third over a minute behind.
Jenson Button in 4th was ahead of Jarno Trulli, Giancarlo Fisichella, Ralf Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve. All were a lap behind!
15 cars were classified as finishers. 
Renault, Ferrari, BAR, Toyota, Williams and Jordan managed to finish both their cars.
Minardi failed to finish either of their cars.

The 2004 race

1.Michael Schumacher - FerrariMichael Schumacher wins the race after a well executed 4 stop strategy beating Fernando Alonso who started from pole and led the race early on.
Rubens Barrichello managed to take 3rd from Trulli at the last corner!
Jarno Trulli lost 3rd to Barrichello and his situation at Renault went downhill since then.
Jenson Button managed 5th ahead of the 2 McLarens, both running the MP4-19B.
Juan Pablo Montoya finished 8th.
Takuma Sato suffered yet another engine failure.
The race had one of the least retirements on record. Just 2 cars retired!
18 cars were classified as finishers. 
Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, Williams, Jaguar, Sauber and Toyota managed to finish both their cars.
