Highlights |

Mika
Hakkinen - McLaren |
|
Mika
Hakkinen wins the race after passing Michael Schumacher on a
drying track. Hakkinen lost the lead early struggling in the wet
conditions but caught Michael as dry line started to form. His
pass on Michael was one of the highlights of the 2000 season.
Michael Schumacher finishes 2nd as he couldn't match the pace of
the McLaren in the drying conditions.
Ralf Schumacher has a race of his own finishing a distant 3rd.
David Coulthard loses valuable time as his team keep him on wets
on a drying track for too long. He eventually finishes 4th.
17 cars crossed the finish line.
McLaren, Williams, BAR, Jaguar, Sauber and Arrows managed to finish both their cars.
Prost failed to finish either of their cars. |
