1. Michael Schumacher - Ferrari Michael Schumacher wins his 10th race of the season. Rubens Barrichello finishes second but doesn't come close to threatening Michael. Juan Pablo Montoya finishes a distant 3rd ahead of David Coulthard while Ralf Schumacher in 5th was almost a minute behind.
Eddie Irvine scores a point for Jaguar.
12 cars were classified as finishers although Panis suffered an engine failure 5 laps from the end.
Ferrari, Williams and Toyota managed to finish both their cars.
Minardi and Renault failed to finish either of their cars.

1. Michael Schumacher - Ferrari Michael Schumacher wins the race ahead of David Coulthard and Giancarlo Fisichella in an incident packed race.
The race was re-started after 6 laps when Luciano Burti hit the barrier at high speed.
The Williams cars started from the first row but had problems at the start (Montoya) and the re-start (R Schumacher) relegating them to the back of the grid.
14 cars crossed the finish line.
Ferrari, McLaren, BAR and Arrows managed to finish both their cars.
Sauber and Jaguar failed to finish either of their cars.
