| 1. | Kimi Raikkonen - McLaren | Kimi Raikkonen wins the first Formula One race in Turkey. Raikkonen
finished ahead of Fernando Alonso who managed to take second after Juan Pablo Montoya went wide. Giancarlo Fisichella was 4th but over half a minute behind with Button, Trulli, Coulthard and Klien making the top 8. The 2 Williams' had tyre problems with both Webber and Heidfeld retiring while Michael Schumacher clashed with Mark Webber and sustained damage resulting in his retirement. 15 cars were classified. McLaren, Renault, BAR, Toyota, Red Bull and Jordan managed to finish both their cars. Williams failed to finish either car. |
