1.Fernando Alonso - Renault Fernando Alonso wins the race from Pole making it 3 in a row for Renault in 2006.
Jarno Trulli finishes an impressive second ahead of Kimi Raikkonen.
Ralf Schumacher finishes in 4th ahead of Pedro de la Rosa who substitutes for the injured Juan Pablo Montoya.
Mark Webber, Felipe Massa and David Coulthard make the top 8.
Michael Schumacher retired while running in second with a hydraulics failure.
Rubens Barrichello finished 9th after starting from the back due to an engine failure.
Fisichella retired early in the race with an engine failure.
Toyota, McLaren, Sauber and Minardi managed to finish both cars.
BAR failed to finish either of their cars

1.Michael Schumacher - FerrariMichael Schumacher and Ferrari dominate the first Bahrain Grand Prix. Rubens Barrichello was second with Jenson Button finishing 3rd.
Jarno Trulli, Takuma Sato, Fernando Alonso, Ralf Schumacher and Mark Webber made the top 8.
Fernando Alonso starting in 16th made a number of overtaking moves on the track on his way to finishing 6th.
Montoya was running third until gear problems slowed him down. He ended 13th.
Kimi Raikkonen suffered an engine failure just 8 laps into the race despite changing an engine before the race.
Ferrari, BAR, Renault, Williams, Jaguar, Toyota, Sauber and Jordan managed to finish both cars.
McLaren failed to finish either of their cars
17 cars were classified as finishers.
