Hi All,
I like what I see in the new Ferrari. The fine tuning and tucked in shapes. The car is a gem!
I think in Spain the car was detuned a bit to keep it reliable and it still had the highest straight line speed; besting both Williams (BMW) Power (SUPPOSED TO BE THE MOST POWERFUL ENGINE) WHAT A LAUGH!!! and McLaren (Merc.) More testing has happened and the car will start to stretch its legs soon (like now).
I don't want to read or hear another story about BMW Engine power! This has all been nothing but Media hype and just BMW advertising money at work. Obviously the Ferrari is the most powerful car on the grid and all those media people should be writing about that!
Also, has anyone mentioned how many seconds back the Williams cars were at the end of the Spanish race to the winner? Someone look it up and tell me and the world to see.
I love seeing the red cars win. It makes the world right again. Love to see Renault do well. Hope to see Jaguar, Toyota and Sauber do better.
It is a very good show this year hats off to Bernie E. just don't go too far with it! Take care, Frank - USA (Reference Heretic 5-07 - How good is the new Ferrari?)

The Heretic replies:

Frank,

The new Ferrari is certainly the car to beat. It is hard to know if they are up there in power but one must assume that they would be.

Austria certainly proved that they are fast and that the package works well except for the tyres. Barrichello was just unlucky.

We’ll see how the new McLaren fares. That could also be fast.

Ferrari should have some competition after all.

The Heretic
