I am not familiar enough (shame on me) with FIA rules to know if team orders are legal or not, but I agree that the way it was done was the problem. Why not have MS come into the pits first, then RB would have been "unable" to pass him after his pit stop.
Anyway the thing I want to remember about Austria is the battle in the mid-pack and JV's spectacular drive, unfortunately the last hundred yards is what most people will remember. The old order of Ferrari-Williams-Mclaren taking turns winning seems dead. Now it seems to be Ferrari winning, then Williams, then everybody else with Minardi bring up the rear. Now if we can just get the T.V. directors to pay more attention to the mid pack. - Jeff S - USA (Reference Heretic 4-13 - Confusing corporate objectives with sport)

The Heretic replies:

Hi Jeff,

Absolutely. Midfield is where the action is. It was great to see Villeneuve drive so well but there is also Frentzen, Fisichella, Raikkonen and Button to name only a few that are seriously worth watching. It would be good if the TV team had some understanding of the sport.

Yes, sadly the Ferraris are much faster than the Williams cars that, in turn, are considerably faster than the rest. McLaren have fallen into the clutches of the midfield which is where the action is.
