F1 News - Sutil not losing his seat amid scandal - manager - May, 2011 |
May 19 (GMM) Adrian Sutil on Thursday said he is concentrating on the Spanish grand prix rather than worrying it might be one of his last in formula one. The German is embroiled in a scandal, with Renault co-owner Eric Lux vowing to press criminal charges after he was cut with a broken glass following the recent Chinese grand prix."Of course it's a bit difficult at the moment," Sutil told a swarm of reporters in Barcelona, according to the German press."But when I'm in the car, the world will be in order. I look forward to it," he said.Sutil, 28, was clearly not in the mood to talk about the nightclub incident, nor the fact Force India has confirmed his seat only for this weekend."I want to concentrate on formula one," he insisted. His manager Manfred Zimmermann said: "To date there is no official indictment, only the press release about the intention (of Lux)."Asked about Force India's tenuous backing, he added: "The team has the right to monitor the situation, that is normal."But we beleive that Adrian will also be in the cockpit for all the remaining races," said Zimmermann.F1 News F1 Schedule F1 Line-up Constructors' Championship Drivers' Championship F1 Tickets Live F1 Coverage Full Version: Formula 1 News Formula 1 Schedule Formula 1 Line-up Constructors' Championship Drivers' Championship Live F1 Coverage 10 'n' Pole F1 Regulations The Forums Motorsport Shop F1 Merchandise F1 Tickets F1 Diecast F1 Videos F1 Games Back To Top |
