Jul.19 (GMM) Lotus reserve driver Fairuz Fauzy will be back at the wheel of the T127 this Friday morning at Hockenheim.

The Malaysian backed team announced before Silverstone that the 27-year-old would be in the car for the first practice session in Britain, Hungary, Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

Lotus said Germany has been added to the Kuala Lumpur-born driver's roster because of the mechanical issues that struck at Silverstone.

"It's an exciting day for all of us at Lotus -- being able to tell Fairuz he has another Friday run a week before he thought he'd be back in the car," said team boss Tony Fernandes.
