Jan.8 (GMM) Owner Peter Sauber will be the Swiss team's trackside boss and lead director in 2010, but the 66-year-old will not have "any operational tasks" at Hinwil, it was announced on Friday.

The outfit, still officially with the word 'BMW' in its title despite the departure of the German carmaker, said 38-year-old Austrian Monisha Kaltenborn - formerly the legal affairs chief - will instead be Sauber's managing director.

Sauber's own son Alex Sauber, 36, will lead the marketing department, arriving from the Swiss football club Grasshopper, and several other appointments were also announced in the media statement.

"I will keep myself informed on all important developments, but will leave operational matters to the management in Hinwil," said Peter Sauber.
