Jan.14 (GMM) McLaren on Thursday announced that its 2010 car will be launched on 29 January.

Initially on its official Twitter page TheFifthDriver, the Woking based team said the event will take place somewhere in the UK on the Friday morning.

It will be called the MP4-25. Incidentally, the 'MP4' designation dates back to 1980, when Ron Dennis merged his own company Project 4 with the team.
