Feb.11 (GMM) Former McLaren team boss Ron Dennis is planning to attend "quite a few races" in 2010. After a long tenure and a constant presence at grands prix, the 62-year-old last year handed over the team principal role to Martin Whitmarsh. He then relinquished the chief executive role, preferring instead to concentrate on the Woking based company's chairmanship and the establishment of its new road car group. He did not attend many races last season, but on Wednesday evening told the BBC at Motorsport magazine's Hall of Fame event in London that he will be at "quite a few races this year". "I've got over the challenge that always precedes a big project of the nature of our production car programme," said Dennis. "It's not that I'm going to have any more time, but I will definitely be able to choose a little bit how I will apply that time," he added.
