Session underway!

Lap times this year cannot be compared to last year as the track has been heavily modified resulting in an increase in the length of the track by over 500 meters. Session stating in 1 minute.

So far this weekend Ferrari and Michael Schumacher in particular look very strong. Williams have shown at times quick laps so we may yet again see a fight for the 2 front rows between those two teams. McLaren, Renault and Sauber have also shown good pace so they might have a chance too. Session stating in 3 minutes.

Qualifying for the European Grand Prix has been brought forward by 45 minutes in order not to clash with the World Cup Quarterfinal match between Senegal and Turkey. Qualifying should end 15 minutes prior to kick-off. That is unless the session is interrupted by red flags. Session stating in 5 minutes.

Session starting at 12:15 PM local time. It is partly cloudy with a temperature of 22 degrees.
