Italian GP - Warm-up Session:

Michael Schumacher sets the fastest time of the session just ahead of David Coulthard. Juan Pablo Montoya was 3rd ahead of Rubens Barrichello and Kimi Raikkonen. Trulli, Alesi, R Schumacher, Hakkinen and Villeneuve make the top 10.

30 min: David Coulthard takes second.

30 min: Final lap ...

29 min: Coulthard takes 3rd from Trulli but Barrichello takes it away from him!

28 min: Jarno Trulli jumps into 3rd place with a time of 1:26.446

27 min: Mika Hakkinen moves into 6th place.

26 min: Montoya goes into second place and Coulthard moves into 4th.

25 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Alesi, R Schumacher, Trulli, Raikkonen, Villeneuve, Heidfeld, de la Rosa and Coulthard.

24 min: Jos Verstappen moves into 11th place.

23 min: Michael Schumacher goes back to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:26.029.

22 min: Villeneuve improves again into 7th place!

21 min: The top 10 is fairly static at the moment. Villeneuve moves into 12th place.

20 min: Jenson Button finally sets a time and moves into 20th place.

19 min: Jarno Trulli moves into 5th. Mika Hakkinen is in 11th place!

18 min: All the drivers have set timed laps with the exception of Jenson Button, once again struggling in the warm-up session.

17 min: Michael Schumacher takes the top spot with a time of 1:26.124. Barrichello moves into second.

16 min: Jean Alesi goes fastest with a time of 1:26.778

15 min: Top 10 - R Schumacher, Raikkonen, Barrichello, M Schumacher, Alesi, Coulthard, Irvine, Trulli, Villeneuve and Heidfeld.

14 min: Kimi Raikkonen goes second!

13 min: Ralf Schumacher goes first with a time of 1:27.203.

12 min: David Coulthard goes second with a time of 1:27.564.

11 min: Michael Schumacher goes fastest with a time of 1:27.376. Coulthard on a flyer.

10 min: Villeneuve improves in time but is down in 4th place at this stage.

9 min: Jean Alesi goes fastest with a time of 1:27.696. He was 16th in qualifying yesterday.

8 min: Juan Pablo Montoya goes second with a time of 1:28.263. 

7 min: Villeneuve goes second with a time of 1:31.614. The times are way off the pace at this stage!

6 min: Nick Heidfeld is the first to set a timed lap with a time of 1:28.084.

5 min: Montoya, Heidfeld, Coulthard and Alonso follow.

4 min: A number of drivers are now back on the track for their first timed laps including Verstappen.

2 min: The cars are starting to return to the pits. Barrichello and Panis have yet to go out.

Session underway and the cars go out on their installation laps.

There has been another sad event this week with the news that Alex Zanardi is in a critical condition following a horrific crash during the inaugural German 500.
