It will be interesting to see how Ferrari, McLaren and Williams compare on this track and which team will be at an advantage. The track requires a relatively high downforce configuration and the weather is fairly unpredictable although current forecasts predict a dry weekend. Session starting in 2 minutes.

Both Heinz Harald Frentzen and Nick Heidfeld have been given the go-ahead to race this weekend. Frentzen withdrew from the Canadian GP after crashing during Friday practice while Heidfeld suffered headaches after crashing during qualifying and from the accident with Irvine during the Canadian GP. Both missed the testing session at Silverstone last week. Session starting in 5 minutes.

Session starting at 11:00 AM local time. That is 9:00 AM GMT, click here for the local time in Nurburg now.
Weather is partly cloudy and the temperature is 11 degrees.
